SS Double Interlock Flexible Metal Hose

Stainless Steel Metallic Flexibles Interlock hoses are manufactured from precision-formed stainless steel strips that are mechanically interlocked to create a durable, semi-flexible hose structure. Unlike corrugated hoses, interlock hoses are made through a process where the metal strip is profiled and tightly interlocked, forming a robust yet flexible tube capable of withstanding mechanical stress, abrasion, and external impact. The stainless steel construction provides excellent resistance to corrosion, high temperatures, and harsh environmental conditions, ensuring long service life in demanding applications.

These hoses are particularly suited for scenarios where flexibility is required without the need for full pressure-tight performance. The interlocked design allows the hose to bend repeatedly without collapsing, making it ideal for exhaust systems, fume and smoke extraction, protective casing for cables, dry bulk conveyance, and applications exposed to vibration or constant movement. When required, a packing material—such as cotton, ceramic, or synthetic fiber—can be added inside the interlocks to enhance leak resistance for air, fumes, or light particulate transfer.
